AirPhysio Device for Low Lung Capacity (Blue)
AirPhysio is a mucus clearance and lung expansion OPEP device. The device uses an all-natural process called Oscillating Positive Expiratory Pressure (OPEP). This assists the body’s natural cleaning process and helps to maintain optimal hygiene in the lungs as well as restoring lung capacity.
Used in the treatment of respiratory and severe respiratory conditions.
The AirPhysio Low Lung Capacity Device is designed for people with low lung capacity to assist in the management of Asthma, COPD, Bronchiectasis and/or for the recovery of colds and flu. This version is also suitable for individuals with low lung capacity secondary to advanced age, respiratory muscle weakness or severe respiratory conditions.
The Low Lung device comes with two resistance settings:
1.     Average Lung Capacity Ball Bearing – Medium resistance for people with reasonable fitness or who have mild lung conditions like asthma, or COPD.
2.     Low Lung Capacity Ball Bearing – Low resistance for people with severe respiratory conditions who have a low lung capacity
The ball bearings are interchangeable in the device, so you can choose which ball bearing suits your lung capacity.
